Privacy Notice

This notice explains what personal data QSC receives through this website, why, and what you can do about it. It is written under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation 2016/679) and Italian data protection law. Last updated: October 2026.

01

Who is responsible (data controller)

Q.S.C. Quality Service Center S.A.S. di Enzo Santoro, Via Sirio, 34, 20051 Cassina de' Pecchi (Milano, Italia), VAT IT07776620960. For anything about your data, write to qsc@qscinspection.com.

02

What data we receive

  • What you send us through the forms: name, company, email, phone, country, the details of your enquiry or project, and any files you email us (drawings, specifications, an ITP, etc.).
  • If you write or call us directly: the details you give us in that email or call.
  • Technical data: like every website, the server that hosts this site records standard access logs (IP address, date and time, pages requested, browser type). We do not use these logs to identify visitors.

Please do not send us more than we ask for. In particular, do not include health data or other sensitive information in your message or attachments.

03

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation: this is needed to take steps at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To keep our business records and defend our rights if needed: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), for example accounting and contract records once we work together.
  • To keep the website secure and working: our legitimate interest, using the server logs.

We do not use your details for marketing or newsletters, we do not sell them, and we do not take automated decisions or build profiles about you.

04

Who receives it

Only people at QSC who need it to reply to you. We also use a few service providers who handle data on our behalf:

  • Web3Forms (web3forms.com): a third-party service that receives what you type in the forms and forwards it to our mailbox. It is based outside the EU, so your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. We rely on the safeguards available under GDPR Chapter V for such transfers.
  • GitLab (gitlab.com): hosts the files that make up this website and keeps the standard access logs described above. GitLab is based in the United States, so these logs may be transferred outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards of GDPR Chapter V.
  • Our email provider: stores the messages we receive.
  • Authorities and advisers: only where the law requires it, or where we need professional advice.

If you prefer not to use the form, you can write to us at qsc@qscinspection.com or call us instead.

05

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are deleted within 24 months. If we work together, we keep the data related to the contract for as long as the law requires (for example Italian accounting and tax rules). Server logs are kept only for a short period for security.

06

Your rights

You can ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to the use based on our legitimate interest, or send it to you in a portable format. Write to qsc@qscinspection.com; we will answer within one month, as the law requires. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or with the authority in your own country.

Giving us your data through the forms is voluntary, but without it we cannot answer you or prepare a quotation.

07

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies, neither our own nor from third parties. It does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, social media widgets, embedded maps or videos, and it does not store anything about you in your browser. For this reason there is no cookie banner. Fonts and images are served from this website, so your browser does not contact Google or any other font provider.

If this changes, we will update this notice and ask for your consent before anything that needs it is switched on.

09

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
